Laura Andrikopoulos qualified as a Fellow in 2005 and currently leads pensions governance consulting (private-sector) for Hymans Robertson in addition to acting as a Scheme Actuary, working across a range of DB and DC schemes. She is an elected Council member of the IFoA from the global constituency and sits on their Life-long Learning Board. Laura is passionate about the value actuaries can add to a wide range of fields and to the management and leadership of businesses and organisations and believes their expertise in risk analysis, combined with good judgement and sound professional ethics, are much in need both now and in the future. She was shortlisted at the inaugural women in pensions’ awards in 2018. In her spare time, Laura is a mother to two lively sons, a long-time practitioner of Iyengar yoga (involves a lot of props) and enjoys travelling to inspirational places (hence photo selection!).
