Our Senior Leadership team has an unusual 50:50 gender split for the sector, providing role models in Sales, Risk, Marketing, Partnerships, Compliance, HR and most importantly in the Actuarial team led by Chief Actuary Chantal Bond. Across the company, the ratio is 45:55 female to male. Our forward-thinking remote working culture has enabled us to accommodate working parents across the UK and broaden our talent pool.
Wider equality, inclusivity and wellbeing is something the actuarial team is passionate about. Several team members play an active role in AIG’s diversity and gender equality groups. There’s also a trained mental health first aider in the team to support employee wellbeing.

They have a reputation for being competitive especially in the company’s annual Steps Challenge for Health and Wellbeing month. They are also committed to development. Two team members joined AIG’s High Performers Development Programme this year and we welcomed two undergraduates for 10 weeks for our first summer internship programme.
