2015 STAR OF THE FUTURE - DAWN HEASMAN-RILEY
I'm delighted to have won the Stars of the Future Award, I really wasn’t expecting to. It is really nice to be recognized in this way and I think it is great that Actuarial Post run the awards.
I've been with Aon Hewitt since 2008 and I work in the corporate consulting practice based in Epsom. My work typically involves advising employers with defined benefit pension schemes on a variety of issues such as benefit design, accounting, risk and investment. I also have a particular focus on insurance clients where I help to understand and brief other consultants on how DB pensions interact with insurance solvency regulation to make sure our advice is optimal from a capital perspective.
I really enjoy my job as a consultant and I am keen to help progress what it means to be an actuary but who knows where I will end up!
